Geneglace
Operating principle

Ice is made inside a stationary and insulated cylinder (1). It is harvested by means of a helical reamer.
Water circuit

A pump (2) carries the water from the base (3) to the upper water tray (4). Water is running continuously on the cold surface (5) where it is frozen.
Refrigerant circuit
The refrigerant evaporates inside the double wall (6) and freezes the water.
Ice harvesting

A helical reamer (7) driven by a motor (8) is sweeping the surface while rotating (orbital movement). It causes the ice to crack and break off. In the area where the ice is harvested (9), the water does not flow, ensuring that ice produced is completely moisture free.
